The Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge is part of the United States system of National Wildlife Refuges. It is located in Eastern Oklahoma, near the city of Okmulgee and the Deep Fork River where the refuge gets its name.
The refuge was established in 1993 and contains over 9,000 acres (36 km²) of protected land. The refuge is subject to annual flooding which provides excellent habitat for waterfowl and other animals.
